The military lifestyle comes with a unique set of challenges:
Laura has been actively providing counseling services since 2019, especially to military affiliated clients in Idaho (MHAFB), New Jersey (JBMDL),
South Carolina (JB Charleston), and now Ohio (WPAFB).
As an Air Force veteran and military spouse of 20 years, Laura has over two decades of experience navigating the complexities of the military lifestyle. She has a solid understanding of the pressures placed on military members, as well as the stressors felt by military families.
As a special THANK YOU, Laura offers Active-Duty
clients and couples a discounted self-pay rate.
Many of Laura's military clients and couples appreciate the option of a discounted
self-pay rate, in an attempt to safeguard their private and personal health information. Your privacy and confidentiality are of the utmost importance. Since Laura is not contracted with Tricare, she is not obligated to issue a psychiatric diagnosis, nor provide treatment records to the military treatment facility or leadership.
Please visit the "Private Practice Fees" for pricing information.
Military members are used to overcoming obstacles, and asking for help is one of the hardest steps for those trained to be strong and self-reliant. Mission readiness starts with mental wellness. Acknowledging the need for mental health support isn't a sign of weakness - it is a testament to your enduring strength and courage in taking care of the most important mission: ensuring you and your family live a meaningful and fulfilling life.
Mental battles don't end when service does - addressing the battles within takes a different kind of strength and bravery. Choosing to confront invisible wounds is a powerful act of courage, which speaks to your resiliency.
